Interstate 82 Deathrace.... Take the map Deathrace, and convert it to a board game. Here's what I got:
*Objective: No matter what team you are on, the goal is to get to the Helicopter Pad first. Then fly a helicopter to the DISCO finish. (just escape the damn island)
"I'm not gonna make it Morten." A soft whisper upon moist, bloody lips. "You're going to be okay GD. The chopper is coming. Sniperjack will get us out of here." "Did you see that break in the road Morten? We weren't meant to race this way." "Only drivers like us were, brother. HEY! LOOK AT ME! STAY AWAKE! I see Jack beyond that last ridge." "You always said I drove too fast..."
-There was a roar from the skies unlike any sound heard on earth in millions of years.-
"She won Morten. She fucking ruined me!" "Relax GD. You need to rest now. "AHHHHHHHUUU!!" Samson cried out in pain. "Shh, you're going to be alright. Jack's here." Sniperjack called out from the helicopter, "Is he going to make it Reegado? Reegado?" But Morten's head was held low over a lifeless Samson Burns. "He lost too much blood. His wounds are too critical. She won Jack. OMGzilla killed GD!"

The year was 1982. Rock and roll was cool. But disco. Disco was what it was all about! Disco was funk! Disco was everything to those with soul. Yet Disco was nothing if it were never earned. The only way to reach the disco was to complete a race. And the only way to complete a race was to survive....(the track)
"Welcome to Interstate, I love you!" An afro topped, humanoid robot shouted at its passer bys. "Mommy, what is that!?" A small child tucked himself back against his mum in mild fear and intimidation. "Just an outdated Interstate robot dear." The year was 2182. Zip cars and zip feet moved about, to and fro, without hesitation towards their final destinations. "Come celebrate IS82's 200th anniversary!" The robot continued. "Remember the deadly Deathrace! The extreme stunts! The tricked out Stratos!" The robot was practically giddy... "Take part in the great convoy! Expirence the death of the mighty OMGzilla at the hands of The Great Wizard himself, Ratchet! Ride along the dizzying course, Ruined Vacation! Walk the dangerous Rainbow Road! Become emersed in the deadly cliffs of Problematic..." The robot continued, reciting favorite memories of all the forgotten race tracks. "Mommy, it's staring at me!" The boy whined. "Keep walking dear. He wont hurt you. He's practically expired." _____________________________________________________________________________________

"What is it you think you know about explosives?" A crazy thin young woman said behind her pair of green aviator sunglasses. "I know that to properly rig a Stratos, one has to be aware of every possible scenario!" It was the response of a young athelet. The Story of the Kingpins versus Vigilantes, and Deathrace:
America, 1977. Government colapse. Politicians became leaders, using police and military force to secure the nation. Terror flooded the city streets and suburbs with violent looting and criminal activity. The Politicians, having little control of the general populace, created a game for the people to cling to. This game has become known as Interstate-Deathrace. What's left of the shady menace of society flocks to watch the Deathrace matches. Deathrace has been divided into two factions. The Kingpins and the Vigilantes. The Vigilantes are made up of local civilans. Bribed, pushed, and threatened into entering Deathrace. While the Kingpins are constituents of the Politicians. Rather, the Politicians have become the constituents of the Kingpins.
Kingpins have more money. More money = more weapons. Vigilantes have more motivation. Motivation = more strength.
There are five main characters in IS82-Deathrace. Each having their own unique abilities. You the Player must take advantage of the game by utilizing your character's skills.
1)Yellow Shades: GoodDay has the ability to move one additional space after every roll/turn.
Samson Burns, aka GoodDay
Fast. Goofy. Knowledged. This guy was born to be alive! Most moments are too short in GoodDay's world. Deathrace has very few tricks up its sleeve that can deter Mr. Yellow Shades. His under- standing and expirence with IS82 is far superior than the average driver. Do a Barrel Roll! And don't forget to take your extra space!

2)Purple Shades: Reegado has the ability to take 1/2 damage after every damage dealing Draw Card, Power Card, Drive By, Battle-it-Out as we as the Weapon Drops.
Morten Ratchet., aka Reegado
Evasive. Quick witted. Smart. This man has spent much of his time and energy into modifying his Stratos. So much so that his car sustains half as much damage as the others. Pick the purple shades, and gaurantee a safer expirence through Deathrace!

3)Red Shades: Midnight has the ability to change a 1 to a 6 when performing a shortcut. Also, he is immune to Fire Drops.
Mista Matthieu, aka Midnight
Skilled. Cocky. Arrogance shows in his techniques behind the wheel. Born into the Euro rally life, Midnight allows himself few boundries in the race scene. Many stunts and short cuts have been seen behind those red shades. Some even go so far as to say he has driven Deathrace 2. Although, none know if it truely exists.

4)Black Shades: Shooter has the ability to never be attacked. However, he can be Counter Attacked.

5'4". 282 lb. Shooter has been teased and tormented most of his life, due to his design. He has built a solid wall of emotion around himself and his Stratos. But how long will it remain intact against the other racers? Deathrace has no sympathy for the recluse. Pick the black shades, and drive with greater ease knowing you cannot be attacked via Drive-By and Battle-it-Out situations.

Hot tempered and aggressive. Born and raised in the ghetto, back streets of Londen. Miss Jones is one bad broad! Rumor has it, she eats kittens. Those who mess with this woman, often regret it! Pick the green shades, and attack! Go! Go! Go!

STEP 1: ROLL 2 DICE TO SEE WHO GOES FIRST! HIGHEST NUMBER GOES FIRST!! Player 1: Pick your Character!! Whoever rolled the highest dice gets to pick their character first! 2nd highest roll picks 2nd & so forth. Players can pick what Character they prefer, but they can not pick their Team. Only 1 Player per Character.
STEP 2: ALL PLAYERS DRAW 5 RANDOM POWER CARDS. 1 POWER CARD MUST BE A RANDOM WRENCH CARD.
STEP 3: Roll a single dice for your team.
Kingpins start Deathrace with 6 of every weapon. And 100 Health Points. Vigilantes start Deathrace with 3 of every weapon. And 125 Health Points.
STEP 4: First Player starts. Game play thereafter goes in counter clockwise rotation.
STEP 5: Follow the "Order of Operations" key.
STEP 6: Be the first to reach the chopper before you get left behind!!
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ To which stronghold do you swear allegiance? KINGPIN OR VIGILANTE? Choose your character before you roll for your team.
KINGPIN: Kingpins have the ridiculous ability to carry twice as many(18 versus 9)weapons as the Vigilante. "I got some big blasters, need some help?"
VIGILANTE: Vigilantes have the innate ability to start the game with 125 points. "I need some help ova hea!"
Now that you have picked your character and rolled the dice to join your team, get to know your new identity. Read up on your skills!
Remember!
If you don't use your player's ability when it is needed.. you can't go back and correct your mistakes!
Samson's skill is a good example:
Consider using your 'extra space' ability every turn! Otherwise, you will miss out on all those extra spaces! Unless, using a shortcut or push section might be in your best interest by NOT using your free space ability...
Draw Card Icon: Anytime a Player lands on this icon they must draw a card from the Draw Card pile. Read the card aloud and follow it's instructions. Then discard into the used pile.
*Point Breakdown: -Every Kingpin Player starts Deathrace with 100 Points. -Every Vigilante Player starts Deathrace with 125 Points.
Throughout the map, Players constantly lose (and gain) health. 100/125 Points is the max health a Player can have at anytime. -If your car's health reaches zero (becomes lost, destroyed, or otherwise inoperable), you must begin again from the Starting Arena or nearest captured Control Point (With full health). Once dead, the Player must wait were they died until their next turn. That way, if (BIG IF) a Draw Card awarding health arrives before their next turn, the fallen Player can be revived.
In other words... If a Player is killed by another Player or killed from the loss of all health via the Draw Cards, Power Cards or Weapon Drops, the Player will lose their place and must also restart from the Starting Arena. The aggressor will lose any points caused by the defender's/victim's counter attack.
In the event that both parties perish, both parties must restart from the beginning of their last available starting point.
Status update: Added updated game board pic to top of thread. Currently working on the 2nd draft of the rule book (Owner's Manual). Also reworking my Draw Cards..4th draft. Red, Black and Green characters are finished. Revising Yellow and Purple Shaded characters.
