IS82 mod used to work fine on my Vista(sucks)64 pc and then a month later it crashes to desktop. I've tried running it in all compatability modes and in single mode. I tryed re-installing the whole game but it still wont work - not even the splash screen comes up. So now to play the mod I have to start up pc with XP ( cant wait for windows 7)
if you dont even get splash screen then remove any custom maps you have (including other mods.. DC etc). Have you made or modded any maps with the BC editor? if so remove those first and try it.
I've had that problem before. (Damn GMake!) Where corrupt rfa packing would cause my game to refuse to load. Remove your latest map additions one by one until you find the one that causes it.
I deleted all 145 maps i had in the levels folder and reinstalled interstate18full and interstate181patch which gave me 12 maps in levels folder, started bf1942 clicked custom game and activated interstate and then game closes and I'm in desktop. I tryed deleting the whole Interstate folder and reinstalling IS82 and samething happens. I never used BattleCraft before so thats not it. Any other suggestions? I appreciate your help in this matter.
Thanks for all of your help- problem solved. It was "Run as Administrator" that did the trick- I would of never had thought of that. thanks everyone and thanks Polish see you all on the interstate.
