i have a 32" HDTV running as a second monitor from my laptop.

heres the problem:
i want to run games on the HDTV, but you can only run games on the primary monitor, which in my case, HAS to be the laptop - the option for choosing the default monitor for either screen is not selectable.

does anybody know how i can run games on the secondary monitor, or over ride this and use the HDTV as my primary monitor.
it may help to tell you i have an ATI gfx card.

as far as my experience goes on multiple monitors, simply cuz im working in a company where everyone has those......try to run ur game minimized, and simply drag the window to the secondary monitor, try that

On laptops (especially Toshiba...) Theres usually a key shortcut, to switch between screens. Look closely. U might have them too.

Example: Toshiba Satellite - [FN button + F5] = Screen switch.

yeah.. on ati you choose the primary monitor.. so i have had the main desktop on one screen and it loads games up on the other.. only prob is that some cards do not perform as well on secondary monitor.. but i think thats just older cards.

A while ago I had a Standard monitor 19'', and as a secondary monitor I had a Laptop hooked op on its ''desk stand''...that worked pretty well for me 2

and reegad: I dont kno if its from the start of a p0rn vid, I stole the avy from some other user at some other forum ;l)

u can drag any windows onto the other monitor, but games never start windowed, they're either maximised (on the laptop) or minimised
