Thats quite a move, kudos for going through with it, hope you enjoy your new job.

While there are some pretty powerful laptops they are expensive and never match a desktop. Ask yourself do you really need the power on the move ?

You might find its actually better value to buy a powerful desktop pc for gaming and a cheap underpowered laptop for work purposes.

For example, gaming laptop Â£2000 vs gaming desktop Â£1600, cheap laptop Â£400, with a bonus that less powerful laptops are often lighter, more compact, and less money is lost in the event of damage or theft.
