Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker, com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
So I now decide to install battlecraft, ed42, gmakerfa, gmax, bfmdt, and all taht good stuff
very paranoid about the internet so everytime i close it I use ccleaner to clean my cache and all that. So I install this stuff and run ccleaner to fix registry errors, before I do that I clean internet stuff, havenot been on it after installing that. Afterwards I see in my temp folder irsetup.exe is in there. I google to find out wtf this is and it says irsetup.exe is a trojan. I did a system restore and It got rid of it. So then I try to install battlecraft from somewhere else, again right after ONLY installing battlecraft i get irsetup.exe in the temp folder, And I havenot even opened battlecraft yet. So wtf is battlecraft being evil on me? I've downloaded from fileplanet and fileshack this is ticking me off, obviously theres thousands and thousands of downloads and someone would have said this file is false, but thats not the case. Google lied to me?
beforehand I do not have any type of computer infection.

Well theres nothing I can find that says Battlecraft might contain a trojan. Maybe it's just a coincidence that 'irsetup.exe' is named that? But if it is a fluke, what does 'irsetup' mean?
What version of XP do you have on disc? Does it hae SP2 or did you download it after install?
I did a totally formatted fresh install a few months back.. It was uber virgin totally as per initial setup.. I went to AVG to download antivirus and I had hardly even started the download when the system began to freeze up... I looked in the C:Drive folder (was so fresh it still warned me about "These files should not be modified' etc.. ) and there were around 8 new folders in there... shoppinbargains... admonitor this... adhelper that.. hugeerection.exe etc.. etc.. etc..
It was impossible.. I had been to 1 single website and not even finished the download.. (Theres no way that AVG gave me those files.. it had never happened before and not since).
XP has many flaws with security.. especially SP1. The file sharing ports were the problem and had almost immediatley been compromised when the network cable plugged into the back of the PC.. stuff can just be sent straight through and installed..
Dunno if that helps but if you decide to reinstall again.. get the SP2 update and antivirus and firewall (I use Kerio on Ace's reccomendation and its not failed me yet.) software all installed first.. downloa dthe updates on another PC.. get any critcal security updates (Network administrator sections of windows update) and put it all on disc.. then get it all installed on the new install before allowing the little fuck to go near the web. Then you will be safe.... for a wHiLE!........!!
