Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker,com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
Hey IS82 guys, I'm a fellow ingame car guy who specializes in 3D Modeling (I use Maya 6.5 and AC3D 6). At the end of my post is a few links to some hosted images of my models. My tag is <=VXFH=> signifying that I am a Velocity Extreme Flyer and the Velocity Extreme Helopilots' Captain. I'm also the flight leader for the helocopter formations of VXH. All this aside, I like driving cars in game and I've always been a fan of he IS82 mod because of the superb coding, mainly on the Stratos.
I'm making this thread because around Christmas I made a video. It was about a pink Stratos that I made the skin for. It is full of great cinematography as the bright Stratos promenade's around the landscape of Deathrace.
I've been trying to get that Mach 5 in the game, but I dont have the software to map a texture onto it. I'd be more than willing to allow you to do that part for me. As for the coding, my team has nearly perfected the coding of an old vehicle that we are discarding for this one. If you could get the working model in the game and just copy old coding, like the corvette, then my team will get the coding down and you can use it in your video. The only catch is that the skin needs to have a tag to identify the creators. I will require the tires to say VXFGoodrich. If you agree to this, I will have a template made showing the outlines of the plygons and where they should be placed. Then it'll just be simple. Please notice some of the other models. The Ferrari has transparent sides so that the louvers could be alpha channeled on top to make it more 3D and the nose of the GRX will be bump mapped in BF2 so that it wont be flat (round like the bottom cartoon). I make lots of models that are low polygon/high detail and this is not the extent of my collection. Also, does anyone know how to put animations in the game, for example: from Maya 6.5?
I can get you the .3ds files, but they need to be texture mapped and then exported and converted to .sm and .rs. That's the missing step. That's all you need to do. My aim is battlebug00, so IM me sometime and you can get the .3ds files.

The wheels look like part of the main hul of the Speed Racer Mach 5, is this normal? I though wheels were usually roational, seperate meshes. I know it's not the final, and that probably answers my question right there.
