Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker, com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
everytime i try to run a dedicated server on my LAN to test if my map will work online, the server never starts up and I get an error saying "couldn't find current mod from maplist.con, corrupt file?" I have no idea of what to do or how to fix it and make it run the map. It doesn't matter what mod I run on the server either. Can anyone help?
default password should be password OR admin generally you leave the username blank..
if this isnt correct and it wont let you log in, ask the person who set up the router if they changed the password.
once you get into your router, depending on your brand of router, (different routers have different menus) you will want to look for DMZ, once you click DMZ the page should open up. and youll see the router IP ex: 192.168.1. and there will be a box at the end.
now go to the start menu on your comp. go to run. type CMD
should bring up your command prompt. type in IPConfig
we are looking for your IP address (well its not actually your IP, its your routers IP, but whatever besides the point.
it should be 192.168.1.100-104 (mine for example is 192.168.1.101)
now go back to the router webpage. you should still be on the DMZ page.
now add the last digits of your IP into the box. So for mine i would put 101 in
furst step download remote control panel to start any server than check that you are real host at home a heve more pc and no router a can only host games fome host with bf1942 bf2 a hope that this help a litle http://planetbattlefield.gamespy.com/View.php?view=1942Tools.Detail&id=63 Server Manager is a replacement for the DedicatedServer.exe program that comes with the game. It makes it easier to fire up a new server and restart one because you left everybody's favorite map out of the rotation and so on.

Sounds more like a poorly set up server manager. Did you try to use just the one supllied by EA? Start-Programs-Ea games-Battlefield 1942-Run dedicated server? If that one works it's a messed up server manager install/stuff in wrong places.
