Ok i have a serious issue with Interstate , i have had to re-install Battelfield twice to-day so far and several times in the past , there must a serious bug somewhere with either Interstate or Battlecraft .
Now this isent just an isolated incident , one of my friends who also makes Interstate maps has the same problem .

I dont really bother usually when i have to re-install , but to-day its been twice , and maybe 5/6 times this week .
I have tried to delete ALL modified maps from the directory`s to no effect , there is some other problem here that needs addressing . [ Edited 11 Mar : 21:28 ]
There is just somthing wrong with your map. Nuthing with battlefield. Im affraid reinstalling Bf that much is taking alot of space off your computer....Including the registry's and EA games folder. have a look at your Battlefield1942 add remove programs. And see how many mb's there is. Mine is now only about 1 gig. anymore than that is insane. There are alot of steps to reinstalling battlefield other than clicking uninstall. Registry's are still there and Some of the EA games folder is too. as for it crashing its somthing to do with battlecraft you havent in formatted everything needed to play a MAP. Ask some of the mappers about it they will tell you.

Am I missing something here? I can't see where the problem is because no-one is telling.
Is the problem only with Interstate or with every mod (and vanilla BF)? Can you play normally after you reinstalled? And what is your problem?
By the way, M-XER: Only 1 GB? My Interstate folder is more than two, my overall Battlefield is 18.2 (really lots of mods)! How do you manage with so few?

The amount of space used at the moment in my Battelfield folder is 7,139,00mb which has no relevance at all to the problem . For instance client Desert Combat Extended is around 470,000kb (zipped) .
I havent really managed to highlight where the problem lies as yet , but i`m suspecting it lies between Interstate and Battlecraft , there just not getting on very well to-gether . During the mapping process i am constantly saving and testing my map and there is no problem , but when i goto a game of vanilla Battlefield this is where the trouble starts , i seem to have a 50% chance of it working , it either loads the map or crashes to desktop , in future crashes i`ll try to be more aware of whats actually happening , running it in windowed mode and see if there are any error reports .
Just for reference , i dont have any problem with mapping for vanilla Battlefield , everything runs as smooth as a baby`s bottom ...

This is a strange reply , i have been mapping for many months/years and have never had this problem before , are Interstate maps mapped in a different way to other mods ? .
