Last Month the Japanese try to retrive this mod a little bit more. They played in the at 2pm CET. At the moment the gametracker, com Server Monitorring is off. Hope soon they turn it on. The ranking seems to work.
Now that's a cool map if there ever was one. And I thought, after BFGP, that true racing in Battlefield was a bad idea - clearly not. __________________

I tired by myself and must say I was a bit disappointed
- The cars are really awesome but I can't control them for shit - I couldn't find the track and fell in water - The regular sounds really don't fit - Aren't those car able to go fuckin' fast ?
Hope this will be fixed in final release and that people won't go OMG STFU IT ROX LOL NEW CAR. __________________
Well, a few signs pointing to where the track would really be nice. First time, I fell into the water as well. Hint: The track that leads to the water is the wrong way to go. Go the other way from the start area.
The cars control much better once you're on the actual race track and go fast. Some turns are still rather evil, but from my experience with other racing games, they are always evil on Laguna Seca. And the cars go fast enough to have fun, which is all that really matters. __________________
very good rubba! i loved it, but i will nitpick now =P both the closed cars, toyota and peugot have a few graphical glitches, and imo the peugot's windshield is way to small for 1st person. also, i managed to fall throlugh the track merging from the pit to the track, and there's one part of the track that seems to be impossible to not take damage at, but otherwise this is a great track and i love the new cars and the handling, granted those cars probably dont drift in real life, it makes for a fun driving experience in battlefield. __________________
If it works on Windows, but not on Linux, there's fair chance that file names are the issue. Specifically, Linux cares about capitalization (Which means ABC, Abc, abc, aBc and so on are all different files) while Windows doesn't (ABC, Abc, abc, aBc and so on all refer to the same file).
I have no idea whether that's a problem with Battlefield and it's rar files as well, but if I were you, that's where I'd look. __________________
weird, i swear it was fine on mine, lowercase everything. however, I have no ftp/server access, so could anyone who does, please do their thing? ty __________________
The map name was lower case but the internal folders used capitals.. I have made a svr version using all lowercase which should work.. but I cant get it on svr at the moment to test.. should be up and running soon __________________
weird, well thanks so much for sorting it, flame. it's weird though how parkland coast was not affected. its setup is identical to psns __________________
Inside the RFA, it should not matter, as those folders are handled by the games engine. But we've experienced some weird things with Linux servers before __________________
It's not a matter of bad or worse, it's a matter of compatibility. If you want to do something that works equally well on Linux and Windows, or for that matter, any operating system, use lower case only. __________________
Nothing related to filename. Server does start the map, so you can exclude that. There's something worse going on. Bad filenames result in server crashing when it tries to load it, or it just gives an error. __________________
This is funn. Setting up a ded server on my box, trying to join: Data differs from server, how cool, it's the same freakin file, lol. __________________
the name was originally meant for the drift class. however, the P1 class is the only one available right now, and you're not really supposed to drift those. lol __________________
