Hi Buddies 7th June was a great Event. Its really cool to see more movement at the Servers. 6-10 players we are. Good way to make monthly events. Thx to "Posi" for support. Join back to the Server, players waiting at the evenings for!
JPG is a widely used image format, however people often get the compression options wrong, leaving a badly blurred picture.
First get yourself a trial copy of Paint Shop Pro 8 from www.jasc.com
When you save, choose jpg, and then click the options button
- Encoding set as Standard - Compression Factor set as 5 or 10 - Chroma Subsampling should be changed from Default to None
The chroma is the important option, as the default causes the color red in names to turn into an unreadable blur.
As for size, 800x600 is good as it fits nicely on the screen, and remember while the obvious option is to re-size, this will blur any text, so consider using the Image, Canvas size option.
