If anyone could make a testure for me and tell me how to use it, that would be sooo cool! i need a lava texture! i dont like using the pallette thingy in battlecrafy cuz its one plain color and last time it got erased when i generated surface maps! im not even sure if its possible to make them, but if anyone can help, please tell me! thx

 I can't help you with making the texture, but i can tell you that generating surface maps makes the color of the texture change to the type of terrain you set in BC.. i never touch that, lol

Although, for the lava thing, i would take a picture, such as.. umm.. hmm.. this one... and just make it the texture.

 ok i see the picture, but i dont know how to actually use the texture in the program! i read the tool tips thingy and did that. i dont understand!

 i guess i can use the painting thing and make it orange, that would look cool.

 you can swap the existing textures in the battlecraft texture folders for anything you like.. (a lava texture etc).
if you do it that way then BC will also generate shadows correctly on your 'custom' texture..
without removing them as it usually does.
