I finally picked up a widescreen. 20 inches. I will get a kick out of Too Blue right now after I post this.
Well, I never match my gaming with my desktop resolution. Too underpowered. Everything's still stretch stretchhhy. I feel there's much more visibility in BF1942. I don't feel blind anymore. & so, if the only downside is quality, then there's very little loss for me. Much better.

27" Apple iMac with a 2.93 GHz Intel Core i7 (quad-core), with ATI Radeon HD 5750.
I don't play a lot of games, otherwise I would have probably bought a cheap ugly Windows box with the same power for far cheaper (in fact, this machine does not even have Windows on it, although I will install it some time… I guess…). But this computer is powerful enough for anything I've yet thrown at it. At full native resolution, of course, anything else looks crappy.
i7 2.9ghz quad 8gb memory gefroce 460 1.5gb 15.6" LED 1920x1080 display 500gb hdd one more sata-dock, gonna upgrade to a 120gb SSD system disk in a few months

nice work mista... always good to grab some more desktop for sure.
last thing i bought was a second 24" Dell Ultrasharp screen. Rocking 48" of 3840x1200 which is bliss.
quad core i7 965 extreme @ 4.2ghz - ceramic / water cooled with 2 GTX 280's in SLI. 2.5 years old now but still eats anything I feed it. I guess to be honest.. in the last 2.5 years all its really had to handle (aside from a couple of things) is shitty console ports anyway which don't really push it
